Levels Of Involvement
Independent Practitioner

Independent practitioners who manage their own referrals and set their own session fees may rent consulting rooms at both the Phoenix Psychology Group sites.  Phoenix Psychology Group holds no responsibility for clinical governance in these cases.

Practicing Privileges

Those who have practicing privileges rent rooms for their clinical work and set their own session fees but can receive therapy referrals from the Phoenix Psychology Group.  All client-related correspondence is given on Phoenix Psychology Group stationary; however, Phoenix Psychology Group has no responsibility for clinical governance in these cases.


Associates can receive therapy referrals but primarily undertake Court appointed assessments with the Phoenix Psychology Group.  Both therapeutic and Court-related work is undertaken at Phoenix Psychology Group's agreed hourly rates and the Associate is paid by the Phoenix Psychology Group.  Phoenix Psychology Group shares clinical governance with Associates via the process of supervision and peer review.  Associates may also work with Phoenix Psychology Group on a practicing privileges basis if they wish.

Consulting Rooms & Facilities

Phoenix House in Honiley nr Kenilworth is the base for many of the permanent Phoenix Psychology Group team.  There are four consulting rooms and a larger meeting/group room, all of which are bookable on an hourly, daily or weekly rate.  Tranquil House in Bromsgrove is a larger premises with: seven large consulting rooms; a dedicated children/family suite with one-way mirror, play room, and video system; and two meeting/group rooms.

Both Phoenix House and Tranquil House benefit from administrative support, on-site parking, comfortable reception areas, access for those with disabilities, staff kitchens and space for practitioners to work between appointments if required.

Rates & Fees
Room Rental

Rooms at both Phoenix House and Tranquil House are available to rent on an hourly, daily or weekly basis with varying hours between 9.30am and 8.00pm at Tranquil house and 8.30am and 7.00pm at Phoenix House on weekdays and Saturday morning.  Rates vary depending on the size of the room required and time of day.  There is no room charge for those undertaking Associate work.


Those with practicing privileges will be charged a fee equivalent to 10% of their hourly rate for up to 12 hours intervention.

Expectations & Minimum Standards

Phoenix Psychology Group has an established reputation for professionalism and a high standard of ethical and responsible practice.  All practitioners associated with Phoenix Psychology Group are expected to adhere to the practicing standards of their regulating bodies and engage in regular supervision and CPD activities. Working in accordance with Phoenix Psychology Group policies and procedures is also essential.

All those operating as Phoenix Psychology Group Associates who undertake Court appointed work have their assessments supervised and peer reviewed as standard with no additional charge.
